Beginning with the 2016 Winter Season, any time there is a significant accumulation of snow, or ice, the Outdoor Range Chairmen will make the determination weather the Outdoor Range facility should be closed to all use by the membership. The primary concern that prompted the Board of Trustees to have this plan in place is based on safety for all members, and to limit the amount of damage and stress to Range Road, the parking areas, and the property in general. In past years there have been several minor injuries, the gate was damaged, and more than a few stuck vehicles while the range was being used after a severe storm. In the event of an emergency at the range where emergency personnel are needed, they, the responders, would encounter a greater degree of difficulty getting to any member that is in need. When a decision is made to close the Range the membership will be notified by an e-mail broadcast, the gate to Range Road will be double padlocked and a sign will be placed on the gate. When it has been decided the Range can be made available for use by the membership, an e-mail broadcast will be sent to the membership. Your understanding and co-operation in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
